A: if we get into London schools, we can buy a place together.
B: rent you mean.
A: yah rent.
B: then I cook, you do the dishes.
A: no. I cook, you do the dishes.
B: no. I cook, you do the dishes.
A: no. I cook, you do the dishes.
B: oh yar. I never do home econs, you won't trust my cooking
A: yah loh, I took home econs, so I cook, you do the dishes
B: but I don't want to do the dishes
A: but I am cooking, so you have to do the dishes
Pause
A: ok lah, I do the dishes, you do the laundry
B: I don't want to do the laundry!
A: then you do the dishes and mop the floor!
lol... ok crap. this is starting to sound too lame.
And I found one out something yesterday while writing my personal statement. I actually tyco the meaning of predilection. (I happen to be using the thesaurus to find other words for "liking") well, was chionging my personal statement late into the night, before receiving information that Mr Lee wouldn't be in school. ok. at least now I got three days to do a proper one. Now I really wonder why I am doing so much stuff for the university application, when I already set my mind on one college, which was within my reach, One that I should be able to go to (if I don't screw up my A levels and get an overseas scholarship). being in RJ really makes one set big dreams.
Went back to YCKPS today. walked around the whole school before I manage to find Mr Tang. most of my other teachers are no longer teaching there, prolly somewhere else. stayed there for a while before deciding to head back to RJ. YCK was not exactly the place I would want to hang around. its just so... bittersweet.(reminds me of bittersweet symphony which I happens to be listening to now)
Unfortunately, since it is nearing the end of the year, grace is getting a little angsty. sometimes I really don't mean to snap at some people who got on my nerve, but I found out one thing. If I don't express my feelings, people just take you for granted.
Last but not least, I got my new pair of shoes :) Nike total 90. cool!
The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony
'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life
Trying to make ends meet
You're a slave to money then you die
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places
where all the veins meet yeah
No change, I can't change
I can't change, I can't change
But I'm here in my mind
I am here in my mind
But I'm a million different people
from one day to the next
I can't change my mind
No, no, no, no, no, no, no,no,no,no,no,no(fading away)
Well I never pray
But tonight I'm on my knees yeah
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now
But the airways are clean and there's nobody singing to me now
No change, I can't change
I can't change, I can't change
But I'm here in my mind
I am here in my mind
And I'm a million different people
from one day to the next
I can't change my mind
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
I can't change
I can't change it
'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life
Trying to make ends meet
Trying to find some money then you die
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places
where all the veins meet yeah
You know I can't change, I can't change
I can't change, I can't change
But I'm here in my mind
I am here in my mind
And I'm a million different people
from one day to the next
I can't change my mind
No, no, no, no, no
I can't change my mind
no, no, no, no, no,
I can't change
Can't change my body,
no, no, no
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
Been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
That you've ever been down
That you've ever been down
