life without school
I was reading Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment yesterday and school to the kids in the book was this horrible lab that does horrible experiment on them that mutate their genes. lol...
that aside, life without school is boring, especially when you've got a boring job like mine. I guess I shall not mention too much about this job, otherwise I'll be complaining non-stop. I am currently working at the CPF call centre, and the highlights of the days were probably the weird calls that came in and some of the questions that people ask that make you go "HUH??". And getting scolded by unhappy people (because they do not qualify for some reward) is inevitable once you are on this job - unfortunately. The pay is ok lar, but when I think of the agency earning so much, it makes me pissed. Come to think of it, I actually prefer studying. Gosh... I miss school!
Well, a short summary of what I did over the past 1 month (oh my, didn't blog for so long). I quit my admin job and went to do a survey job for 3 days. was like dead after asking people the same question for like 5hrs. but the pay is so much better, like ~10bucks an hour. Other stuff was quite normal. Well, I went walk walk with wj and yx that day to sort of celebrate a belated birthday for wj, and we ended up reading palmistry, ba zi and kan xiang books in Kino. lol... then yx was damn funny, she actually took a book that says "why teachers quit". OH NO!!! The next day I visited Mr Lee in school. yep. and had a nice long chat with him. :) lala~
Just yesterday, Bernie and I went for the NTU seminar at Suntec. Aerospace sounds nice :) yep yep. the day before that, I went to Chinatown with my mom. didn't feel much of that CNY-ish feel this year though. wanted to buy more snacks though. but was reminded of the large boxes of chocolates in my fridge and the packs of snacks bursting out of my cupboard.. oops!
lala~ anyway here's an early happy CNY :)
