started ushering at around 8... was assigned to level 2 with samantha but we did like nothing there... because no one seems to come from the GO... yep... so we were like talking and slacking there... yep... and anyway, we got a full house... like 95% of the LT filled... the first talk was about nature photography... and John Ariffin showed us some interesting pictures... and taught us some technique to capture a good picture of an animal... sam and I decided to go to the LT2 AV room... ching hui, darren and danny were there as well... tried to look for a wireless connection on ching hui’s laptop but there was none... then cannot surf net... ended up looking at his photo collection... the doggy collection was really cute... haha...
Darren Soh was the second speaker... his presentation was quite interesting and he made quite a bit of funny comments... he was like asking the crowd who was from cat high... and danny was like waving his hands vigorously at him... haha... yep... Darren created this video specially for the RJ photog people... it was like really nice and sweet of him... the video feature the workshop we had over the whole July... haha...
Refreshment was tragic... not that the food was bad or anything... they tasted pretty good actually... but somehow, the portions were really small and in like 10 minutes, everything was gone... sigh...
The last speech was by John Cosgrove and spoke about composition of a picture and telling a story in a picture... yep... after his speech was qing xiang’s presentation on the workshop on the whole...
After that, we spent quite some time clearing up the LT before photo taking session... looked through some of the survey forms... the usual comments were like, “the LT is too cold”, “food not enough” and most of the people enjoyed the seminar...

After everything was settled, wei jia and I went to Suntec for the scholarship preview thing... the a*star scholarship seems very attractive but I’ll need like 4 distinctions and 1 S paper merit... sigh... yep... British council one seems not bad as well...
Got a message from shuting asking if I want to join the national school team international chess championship... and I have to form my team... comprises of mostly 1S01D people... haha... yep... and I’m playing board 1...
