1. you can't walk without wobbling, especially when you are carrying something relatively big, eg. a violin case

2. the heel can get stuck in drain covers, so you have to walk around the side of every single drain cover

3. you cannot walk fast enough to cross the road when the green man is flashing

4. you basically cannot run after the bus

5. jaywalking? more like getting knocked down by car

6. you make those loud noises when walking on hard surfaces, making it difficult to creep up to some people

7. it is just uncomfortable

8. climbing up an unmoving escalator is ARRRRGGGG!!!

Went to J8 today to see wang lu for the last time this year. Yep… She’s going back to motherland… grace is so gonna miss her :( this year really flies, to think, we already know each other for close to a year already, while orientation 1 is still very vivid. Anyway, J8 was super crowded today, probably the xiao yuan superstar thing. Lol… there was like quite a large number of people around, and some students were like having some weird hairdo… saw this girl with blue streaks :S yep… then the 无聊wang lu and I decided to walk around the queue to see if there are any RJ people participating. Yep... and btw, for your information, there were two, but I don’t know them. Haha...

Based on JK Rowling's Harry Potter series book 4, this two and a half hour movie, was comprehensive, (much better than the previous Harry Potter movie), even to those who never read a single Harry Potter book before. Although some of the action of the Triwizard tournament and Quidditch matches were not shown in the movie, mainly due to time constraints, the movie still maintains a high level of excitement. The director effectivly added in jokes, creating a much lighter mood and were unforgettable scenes in the movie. There was also few switching between scenes moments, and the orchestration of the entire movie is surprisingly smooth. However some scenes seemed to be a little too chaotic and confusing to the audience. Also, casting was not as apt. The three main actors were looking too old for their age in the movie, they look like they should be acting in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince instead. (Cho was not as pretty as described in the book, but Cedric is a hunk)

The movie depicts the the main storyline of the book quite accurately even though it has to be made shorter. Expectation should not be too high though, because The movie does not follow the book exactly.

went to the com lab in the morning... so scary loh. suddenly this person walked past me in the com lab, and I try to make sure I do nothing enough for that person to take notice and take a photo of. :P yep...

Met bernie at her locker and walked to to Bishan MRT to take train to Somerset MRT. went cineleisure and had lunch at long johns'... went Heeren HMV and let bernie listen to 夜曲 cos she is very anti-Jay Chou, but after listening to the song, she agreed that the tune is very nice and got style.. and she was like very eager to get her hands on Michael Buble's album... the calendars were out also, but I was quite disappointed with the Blue calendar, not as nice as the previous two I got. :( Bernie was like looking for JT's calendar. lol... yep... walked around Heeren and went to cineleisure. intended to smuggle food like before but ended up buying popcorns from the movie tix counter... so 奉公守法 loh :P

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was nice!!! (look at the other entry) yep...

Finally it is OVER!!! PW IS OVER!!! PW IS OVER!!!

yay!!! after all these month of complaining about PW, I finally handed in the I&R :D *jumps in joy* heehee... anyway, went to school damn early to meet my group outside the staffroom. zhao yan and hua rong were there already. then zhao yan happily told me that he forgot to print the I&R, so in the end have to go com lab to print, and he actually exceeded the I&R word limit by 558 words :S yep.. wei hao came and there were 4 people. one missing person and waited for 15 min before he came. yep... but sigh of relief. going home to delete all the PW files. the sight of it just disgusts me.

then kenneth and I went to do our SRP stuff in the com lab. saw this person playing some spastic game and decided to go to that website and started playing. :P anyway, if you are really bored and want to play those spastic games, click here :) and kenneth burnt this CD or chinese songs for me. haha... yay!!! got 知足 inside!!!

Then bernie, liaoying and me went cartel for lunch. haha... then somehow got migrane, went home and fell asleep on the bus, despite it being freezing on the bus.

THE GIRAFFE IS MISSING!!! AAAAAAHHHHH!!!

Ok. I left it at home lah... was supposed to go to the library to check out some books, followed by doing some HW, but can’t find the giraffe in my bag... in the end was panicking cos I thought I left it in Macs. Yep. Then have to call home and realized that giraffe is still on my tables. Pheew...

Then, to award myself for being so hardworking these few weeks, despite having so many activities and to cheer myself up, I bought Good Charlotte’s The Chronicles of Life and Death :) (I think I’m addicted to spending money now) rocking to the album now :D

Anyway, a friend ask me to accompany her to the audition of xiao yuan superstar :S if you want to go, tell me :P

Yay!!! It is over... Finally!!! Anyway, OP today went quite well and QT was nice enough not to give very tough question. I got the question, "what was the greatest difficulty your group faced when coming up with the plan for the solar energy plant?" Generally, my group did fairly well, although the teachers doesn't seemed satisfied when we say that more research in the technical and engineering are has to be put in before the plan could be implemented in Singapore. yep... at least now only left with the I&R.. :D

went to school for my final OP rehearsal, and this is when we finally time ourselves and make sure that we don’t go overtime or something. Yep! Finished I&R already, other than the OP portion. Not very sure what to write for the usually missing in action person, as we could not complain and neither do I wish to harm anybody’s PW grade. At least he showed some improvements by actually making an effort to read the written report and preparing for his scripts. So in the end I praised everyone, especially zhao yan. :) yep... my performance for the previous rehearsal was abysmal, as I suddenly just blanked out, panicked but (strangely) still continue smiling. yep... anyway, we're damn lucky that our group's slot was changed to Fri because of this *ahem* person, who was supposed to treat my group now. Yep... then we got the weekend to do our I&R!!! lucky eh?

went out early with my mom today and met liyuan at the bus stop. yep... he looked so damn tanned and is so passionate about canoeing. haha... after breakfast I headed to school and went to some table under block a while attempting to finish one numerical method question.. then met wang lu and went to the library. was suppose to start mugging, but ended up blog surfing with june and wang lu. then checked out a few SAT books. gonna have to start mugging for SAT already. yep... then was lunching at J8. then we're now at the com lab.. watching Green Day video now. American Idiot video is nice!!!! (I got Holiday and Bolevard of Broken Dreams video from the special edition of American Idiot already) but the Jesus of Suburbia video is quite disappointing. too dingy for innocent people like me. :) the most disappointing one is Wake Me Up When September Ends. no music at all.. :( wonder why. but their Bullet in the Bible tour trailer is damn damn damn cool!! yep.. then Gorillaz's Dare video is so funny and cute.. :)




then wang lu got this craze over this gloomy bear thingy.. which I think is kind of grotesque.. :S nvm.. u can see that morbid bear at this site.. warning: NC 16 and not for the faint hearted.. btw, the picture on the left is the one of the least grotesque picture on the site and wang lu was like happily laughing and at the disgusting pictures.. yucks. anyway, the site is mostly in jap.. yep.. and wang lu is now bent on getting more morbid photos...

chess camp day 2

settled in the amphi and started playing polar bear.. get to be a polar bear once. :) haha.. halfway through then we realised that the wei qi and bridge people are missing. then we all got so confused that we decided to play mass c chess transfer. (the initial idea was to play i-c chess transfer, but they realised that a queen in c chess and a pao in i chess is freaking powerful and before that, yiling suggested that we play truth or dare, but I guess that's like a girl kind of game.) yep.. so we arranged in such a way that it is the i chess people vs i chess people, otherwise it would be a disadvantage to the i chess people. played with rui zhi. there was like this freaking mass of transfering and koping chess pieces around. still remember once I got like 2 paos on field and 3 paos in my inventory. saw the other people's board and zhao wei got like 4 mas and 3 jus on field.. :S some other person got 4 jus. and the board at the far end got freaking little no. of pieces and started koping stuffs from my inventory.. think he took 2 jus, 3 mas and freaking lots of paos from me.. haha.. managed to be the first to jiang jun and when the c chess people are admiring the dangerous trap I set up, I had to rush off for something, and my hp battery just went ____ (flat) and I couldn't call shuting to ask where they are.. kope my mom's hp and inserted my sim card but I realised that I saved all the nos. in my own hp and not my sim.. yep.. so in the end I went to the library and started surfing the net.. (which sort of explains this entry) :) and the librarians are damn damn mean.. chasing kids off the computers, scolding them for making noise and people for using hp. but come to think of it, its their job to keep the place quiet. at least she didn't bother me. but there was like hell lots of children running around the place.. yep..

yep... went to school early today at like 7++ to sit around and slack. then was the collection of result slip from Mr Lee, and looking at the comments he wrote for everybody, it seems that he got some template or something. it just reminds me of Hagrid.. haha. miss those SN days.. anyway, after that was the chess camp.. first up was wacko, and there was like a lot of sabo-ing. haha... (and it seemed like deja vu, because the exact same image, which apperared in my dreams once, happened before my eyes - wei jia wacking this guy from 1S01D and c chess. weird) then the bridge and c chess people teach everyone some tricks in bridge and openings in c chess. walked off halfway to look for wang lu, but before we can say much it was lunchtime.. had lunch at long john's and quan min was there too!!! haha.. miss SNCO!!! Aaaaaah!!! yep. then we went back and ponned the war games... went slacking in the com lab. haha.. then wei jia, yu xin and rui zhi went slacking in the canteen to play truth or dare. couldn't get much scandals out, basically because we are all so scandal-less. :) yep.. then shuting decided to leave the guys and join us in the game. zhao wei came over too.. soon it became the sabo shuting game. :P then was this talk by this external lecturer on chess history of Singapore. fell asleep halfway through because it was so damn boring. but the way he went through the few games is very good, other than the fact that he went a little too fast and I heard the school might get him as our coach.. yep..

P.S. I really don't know what to say, all I can do was laugh

grace cannot drive properly

Playing in the arcade was fun!!! Yep... bernie and I went to the arcade at cineleisure and spent 5 bucks in half an hour, playing stupid games. haha... started out racing, but my car keep crashing into the cones :S lol... ended up getting 2nd (there was only 2 people playing) then was this stupid shooting game, which then I realized that my gun wasn’t working, because we need to insert 3 more coins if we want to have 2 players. When she passed me the miniature gun, that ugly monster gave me a slash!!! and game over :( then was the table hockey thingy. Got trashed damn badly at first because I couldn’t aim and defend properly with the handle thingy. I even scored quite a number of own goal. Decided to use my bare hands and managed to score 10 points, but still lost in the end. Haha... then we tried skateboarding and I drove the character into the wall. lol... bernie’s was funnier, the character went straight into the oil tank. haha... yep...

Then went walking around Taka. Went into Dior, Hermes and Gucci. Saw this damn funny looking teddy bear in Gucci which kinda reminds me of someone. Haha... yep... then was reading time at Kino. Surprised to see so many people sitting on the floor and reading books, almost like a library. Yep.

yep. was supposed to go swimming in bernie, but she got hssrp so cannot go. nvm... we shall go watch harry potter!!!! anyway, came online because it is November!!! wake me up when september december ends... gonna slack like this hols...

yeah!!! power 98 was damn nice today!!! but I didn't win that restaurant voucher... then there was this giveaway of 12 CDs!!!! AAAAAHHHH!!! there were Oasis Don't Believe The Truth album, James Blunt's Back to Bedlam album and Jack Johnson too... nvm. at least the "get it off your chest" section where we were supposed to share our problem.. and the DJ read out my SMS!!! so cool. then there was this mars vs venus game thingy... and there was this girl called bernadine who called in... wonder if she is that bernadine i know. :) btw, venus won!!! you go girls!!!

stairways to heaven is so damn damn damn touching. actually cried watching it, though it is quite impossible to have such deep love existing in this planet. yep...
